M4RSH:

What can be said about M4RSH? Well, he’s a man on a mission.. It’s all about that ‘Sound’

Spending the early 90’s stomping his way around the dance floors of many a Hard House/Hardcore events, inspired M4RSH to take to the decks. The search for that ‘Sound’ started with Drum & Bass. M4RSH found that these guys where making all the right noises. The first invitation to the ‘CLEAR’ parties was all he needed to convert him to to a whole new sound.. Something that he had never come across before.. ‘Breakbeat’. Not since the early rave scene had beats like these excited him, someone explained to him; “Imagine Drum & Bass, but played at 135 BPM, instead of 175 BPM”. It blew his mind!!

Ploughing through the sub genres, M4RSH found that the bigger the bass line and the glitchier sounds was exactly what he was looking for. He finally found that sound in Electro Breaks.

DJ’ing at parties up and down the country along with the setting up of Radio Glitch, M4RSH now brings his mission to the dance floor and to a whole new audience

Slick Willy Dee:

DJ SLICK WILLY DEE a.k.a. Will D’cruze, Brighton based DJ.

Slick started DJ’ing over 15 years ago, inspired by the Acid Raves that he regularly attended. He started his musical career on a pair of Technics BELT-DRIVE turntables, which actually really helped him!

“Because of the nature of the turntables, you have to be REAL gentle with your touch….(careful!). So when i scored my first pair of 1210’s, i was overjoyed! it felt like i could throw a mix in from across the room! Rugged Beasts!”

Slick started out on Rave Breakbeat tunes, and moved on thru’ Techno, Hard Techno, nearly going as mad as Gabba at one point, until he realised he was making more people ill than dance! So for Will to come full circle back to Breaks is the best thing! Simply because he feel that the Breaks Genre IS THE MOST APT/SUITABLE MUSIC FOR DANCING AND FOR DJ’ING! It has THE most rhythmic dancefloor appeal that encapsulates all of the feel of dancefloor crowd culture past and present, and for himself , it is THE music of the Future!

D J – J-PANiK

This guy was brought up on a healthy dose of pirate radio stations,, and early techno/rave music..he was to follow the rave scene through the early nineties.Playing at every party  he could / and DJ,d Along side many an upercoming dj….. Including Slick willy dee….. or just Will D Cruze. As he was known back then.. He,s first love and still up to this day is Drum & Bass., and he is still trying to keep he,s finger on the ever moving pulse of D & B.  As well as playing  breaks & some old school hardcore sets…..Panik has a formidible record collection streching back to the late 80,s /early 90,s and just wants to share he,s passion for music here on Glitch Radio. Has had 1210.s since he was 17 never looked back..So its no surprise that he,s weapons of choice are..1210 mk 5,s ::::  Cd j 1000 ::: & pioneer djm 800…In conjunction with Time code Vinyl & Virtual DJ

Born in Tain in Scotland, there wasn’t much going for this wee lad. he had three thing in which he could do with his life.
1 = work on a fishing boat and drown!,
2 =  work in a call centre and go mental! Or
3 = move to the big smoke (Glasgow).

Djing since the ripe old age of 13, he started off playing house parties, and holding raves in the coo barn.
To ensure gigs, He release hip-hop mix tapes to the local boy racers and started his own dj competition in the local high school.
after moving to Glasgow in 2005 he has successfully got a resident slot in the Flying Duck with Cargo records/promotions and the basement nights in the soundhaus, playing strange underground raves in castles and every good block party in the west-end!

in the last month foliage has moved back up north and is still doing his shows from the most northern part of the country so make sure you tune in and drop out to hear the strangest and funkest tunes going..

So to finish off, if you want to seek him you’ll find him on the best radio station online!!! (no need to tell you what that is). Or next to the bassbin any night of the week waiting patiently for the first bass drop to kick in!! Get in!!

DJ POINTBREAK

Born and grown up in Brighton, England, I started my DJ career 16 years ago in 1992. Today my genres are: Tech House, Electro, Drum and Bass, Chill out and Big Beat.

At the moment I am concentrating on live broadcasting from my POINTBREAK STUDIOS in Arth, Schwyz to many online clubs also in the virtual Second Life world including the Clubs VEGA, INITS ROOFTOP, FLAME, SENSUAL ELEMENTS, THE RAVESTREET PROJECT, CONTACT, THE DROME, THE HACIENDA, VITAL, THE FIREPLACE, MINISTRY OF MEDIA, HOME, HOUSE DIVAZ and the FULL MOON PARTY – a live broadcast to Had Rin in Thailand. I am also the owner of INTERDANCE “STERNS “ which is a club based on the replica of the famous nightclub in Worthing, England.
